Almost Garden time!
Every year my 8yr old son and I plant a garden, we sell all of it at the end of our drive and what we make gets put into a college fund for him. Looks like the season is almost here!
Steady hand and a little patience
Tonight I FINALLY, almost got the shot I have been trying to get for a year now with my little Cannon powershot(with 4mega pixels). As you can guess it did not happen with that camera, but with an AH HA moment remembered that our JVC video camcorder can also take snap shots. And has a 32x zoom. I would still love to see more detail.
Unfortunately you must have a VERY steady hand because there is no auto focus. So after about 30 shots and a little help from the porch railing for support ended up with this one.
Taken around 8pm tonight.
A tale of a childs ball
Last night as we left the house I thought to myself "I should put the kids ball in the garage" It was suppose to be a little windy. But I didn't. And 1 hour later as we returned I noticed it was gone. And thought to myself again "I told you".
This morning while walking to feed the cattle I found that ball, no where I would have expected it! I would have loved to see how it got here.
It started here under this bench...... Went around this corner..........
Some how made it over these gates...... Down this hill.......Do you see those trees at the end?....
And here is were it stayed secure and snuggled behind these logs......
How did it get there?
How do they know?
How do these furry little creatures always know when you're not feeling good. Any other day and he wouldn't go within 5 feet of her!
Just Like Big Brother
Baseball season is fast approaching! And some little hands wanted practice too!
OH THE EXCITEMENT!
For 3 weeks the excitement has been building! His first boy scout derby race. He put a lot of hard work into his car and really worked hard. Waiting for tonight, THE BIG RACE! There were 29 cars, he was #28. He decided he wanted it red, white and blue and its name........... THE AMERICAN RIDE!
There were 4 rounds, on the 1st and 2nd he came in 2nd and 3rd. Now on the last two races his car came in 1st! In this video he was in lane 4 (sitting in front of his car)
I Forgot to say, he came in 16th overall!
Poor Baby
This poor baby has had a terrible day, can't get up and can't keep anything down:(

What do you do when you have 2 eight yr olds and 2 two yr olds on a Friday night?
