This old Dog and this old man

This dog here, has been the farm dog for as far as I can remember 10-12 yrs. For about four years now(thats how old our dogs are, the replacements) we have been expecting her to cross over. But every year she just keeps going. The poor thing can hardly walk, has these tumors all over, occasionally will poop on the drive or even in the golf cart, she just can't help it. But she has been a great dog and even seems to keep a smile on these hot, hot days. She's been a great dog.

And to this old man, the best Grandpa you could ask for/father in law but with as many times as he has broken his back he seems to start looking more and more like that old dog every year. They both kinda sit the same and mope around the same, but for you always a smile.
Once I find it, I have a great picture to prove this.

Baby Goslings

While stuck in a road block just couldn't help but to roll down the window and take a picture of all these cute little babies! I guess spring has me in a baby frenzy.

Spring time Mommy

One of my favorite times of spring! Seeing all the baby cows as I drive down the road.

Name that weed

Grows in the middle of our woods, stands about 1.5 feet tall and has these little

extravagant and frilly like white clustered flowers on them.

Can you name them?

Blue bird

My son and his grandpa made a bird house a couple of years ago and this is what chose to live there this year! I haven't seen a blue bird in years, especially one that decided to stick around. By looking at their nest hopefully we will see a few more. Terrible picture sorry!

The oncoming teen years

You know that time, when everyone older than you is stupid, or weird or knows nothing, or is just plain old. When the attitude is here and is loud and proud! You get nothing but evil faces made at you for the sarcastic comments of just having some fun(but your old, you don't know what fun is!)

And that stage where you will no longer get a picture that shows there lovely face, just a hand or in this case an arm. (Unless they don't know your watching)

Reverting back to chilhood

I have always been a big believer that as we grow older we tend to revert back to childhood. We want to dress younger, feel younger, look younger and just hold on to every ounce that is left in there. Some show it in the way they act, some in the way they dress.

I love this old man, but every time I see him he reminds me more and more of a little boy, wearing some crazy hat that his mom probably would have never let him wear as a child. Some times just the way they act reminds you of a little child, but you still love them! Just as you would have in their younger days, if not more.

This just made his day, to win his little granddaughter a ball out of the claw machine(which he is a master at).

Next time I will try to get a picture of the crazy watch he loves to wear

Our Future

Starting the day out with a most anticipated movie, THE HUBBLE in the Imax theater! Recommend greatly.

And then to a picture of one of the worlds future Astronauts. Save this, it may be worth something someday!:)

This poor little guy was involved in a hit and run by our mailbox. You will be happy to know he was not seriously injured and walked away with only a sour ego.( I did however move him at least 500 feet from the road)

The Big Auction

Today was the big auction day! The day the cattle go to market that is. I will have to say that the man who came to pick them up and load them......What a BRAVE man. There is no way I would stick myself in between 5 angry cattle and a steel gate with maybe 3 feet in between! NO WAY ! Made me nervous just to watch.
This was the brave man, nothing but him and a really big paddle.

Thank you to the 900lb red one on the far right............I may just be close to affording my new camera!
