Speechless

After days and days of non stop chatter from this little one about Santa and the singing of Santa's comin' to town........ We took a trip to the mall to take her to meet him.

Tip toeing out the department store when daddy said I see him....Just trying to get a glimpse.
And when she finally got to meet him, she was absolutely speechless .

Can't get enough

With many hectic days and the arrival of the terrible two's, there will never be a day that this moment ever gets old.

Proud Day

Today he was brave, not nervous and performed like a little professional. His first piano recital. He has now been playing for 9mos. He did fabulous! So, so proud of him. (no matter how many times I took this pic, it always looked crooked)

And the creativity begins!

The innocence, calmness, quietness, peacefulness, the sense that all is good and all is safe, no one can disturb you.

There is nothing in my mind is more precious, than a sleeping baby.

OCD

No photo for this one, just a little in side look of a person with OCD or CDO (ocd in alphabetical order). Since Sunday, that was 3 days ago, I have been in search for the lens cap to my camera. Most people probably could let that go. Me.......not at all, I have looked in the car at least 6 times, in the clothes I wore that day at least 3 times, in my purse, the camera bag, and diaper bag..... 4 times. Even called my parents to see if I left it at their house twice! One parent at a time. Finally when not looking for it, found it in the item where I always put it when I take it off the camera.. the camera bag. The first place I looked mind you, just not that pocket on the outside because I NEVER put it there, mainly because it is one of those crappy stretchy pockets that has no zip(funny thing, crappy is actually a word that spell check recognizes, Ha). Anyway the CDO in me can now relax and let that little piece of something missing go. The world is now calm.
Now to the list of at least 12 things left to do on it before Friday. Lord help us all:)

Absolute favorite time of year! The trees are so colorful right now and the weather has been so warm to. The camera seemed to take a few 100pds off this draft girl! Must be the colorful trees.

OH MY!

Oh my! The things some animals will put up with is just truly amazing.
As she makes him pretend run, he looks at me with those helpless eyes (right now we all know he could very well turn around and bite her and it would all be over), But no he looks and waits for his trusted owner to help save him. Do I save him? Only after snapping a few shots with the camera.

And waiting to see how much he will truly put up with.
He has more patience than I ever would.

So Many Reasons I Love Lucy

For the longest time I have put a ban on loving "little" dogs. I have never met one that I've liked nor have they liked me. Until now. We picked up this little dog on the fourth of July, she was free, part pekingese/Pomeranian. A PeekaPom. She weighed 3pds when we got her, today she weighs 4pds. We named her Lucy.
And this is why we love our Lucy......

Lucy thinks she is a big dog, she tries to take on the cows(through the fence). They ignore her as if she was a fly.

Still cute when wet and sad...

Lets our boy push her in the baby buggy and seems to enjoy it....

She's very fast like wonder dog.....

Gives me confused looks when I try to take her picture... Thinking what is wrong with that human...

She is actually very sweet and has yet to develop the qualities of those "little" dogs I hate so much.
Although she has developed and ugly under bite and I think she stopped growing, which might qualify her to be a midget little dog.

But she is always happy and takes a great picture.. And that is why
We Love Lucy.

Another cutting down!

So ends another year of hay for us! Its always a great bonding experience for the two of us. Because it is normally just the two of us loading it! A little arguing, me telling him what to do, him telling me what to do......Not really, we have it down now. No words needed! We really make a good team and work well together. Adding other people just kinda gets in our way. But really in this life the only two people you can count on is yourself and your spouse! (And your lovely, beautiful, loving, caring mom who will drop everything on a call to come babysit for a few hours:))

This year was just absolutely terrible weather, the 1st day had heat close to 100, the second we got poured on! And I mean poured.....I was soaked to the bone and even had pruney fingers from my gloves being so wet and water dripping from my socks! Thanks to Marcs great father and fast thinking all bales were saved!

Oh the fun of ride day. Out of the seven days of fair one day is designated to rides and games and all the yummy crap that makes you sick by the time you leave.

far far behind

Yes I am far far behind on posting. Thinking of changing the title of the blog to My little Moments!
So much going on, just can't keep up!

Today was finally our sons baseball party for them to receive their tropies!(that pic will come later)........ and this poor little thing woke up with a temp of 103!

This little cat I thought was soooo cute. Scroungy looking thing but cute and would not leave her alone. I tell you, they always know when your not feeling good.
