Blustery

The temp 15deg with a wind chill of 0 deg. So of course its the best time to bundle the kids up in snowsuits, hats, gloves and boots, for a trip to a local park. It is also a working farm. This inspired trip was from a photograph that I saw from another local photographer that I just admired. So I wanted my chance at it.
Yes it was cold, but the truth is that I have officially turned into my father....

To go out on the coldest day of the winter so far this year to take a picture, knowing there would be no one else there that day.

And truth be told, the kids actually had a great time.
They even left 2 Angels for the workers that day.

For our Fallen

In memory of a fallen officer that will be remembered by many. With many prayers for her family. Let us all remember today the ones that live and die to protect us everyday.

Elegant Entrance

While stuck in a construction zone, of loud noises, large holes and 4 lanes down to one.... I just happen to look over and see this inviting entrance. It belongs to a very old church, in the middle of the recreation of our city. One of the last nice pieces of architecture that they haven't torn down.

Playing with Textures

A little fun of trying to play with textures for photographs. My husband hates it, but I love to try to make them look like art or paintings.(Much easier than actually painting it)
