I have always been a big believer that as we grow older we tend to revert back to childhood. We want to dress younger, feel younger, look younger and just hold on to every ounce that is left in there. Some show it in the way they act, some in the way they dress.
I love this old man, but every time I see him he reminds me more and more of a little boy, wearing some crazy hat that his mom probably would have never let him wear as a child. Some times just the way they act reminds you of a little child, but you still love them! Just as you would have in their younger days, if not more.
This just made his day, to win his little granddaughter a ball out of the claw machine(which he is a master at).
Next time I will try to get a picture of the crazy watch he loves to wearHe wasn't wearing it today!

Great photo of Grandpa Joe, Tracee. You are so right about him wearing things that his mother probably wouldn't have let him wear, but in this case; I think that it's probably a lot of things that Margie (his wife) wouldn't have let him wear, either,,,,,,especially when she was going to be seen with him.LOL She was pretty conservative,,,,,,,just the exact opposite of him!!
P.S. He is quite the pro at that claw machine; isn't he!!
